  • If you're interested in fables, cultural exchange, or the history of storytelling, don’t miss this exhibit. The exhibit traces fables' evolution from ancient India and Greece through the Arab world with key figures like Ibn al-Muqaffa, culminating in French fabulist La Fontaine. Explore 133 artworks, including beautifully illustrated manuscripts in Arabic, Persian, and Turkish, displayed alongside Western interpretations, highlighting the cultural exchange and shared storytelling traditions that fables represent.

Picturing the Cosmos, Louvre Abu Dhabi’s Children’s Museum

  • 18 July 2023 – June 2025
  • This one is for the young space explorers. This three-floor exhibit combines space-themed artworks with interactive games and missions. The young visitors can analyze constellations, design spaceships, solve puzzles in a simulated space station, and even tackle a "Mars Trial," all while developing observation, and analytical skills, and nurturing a love of space exploration through play.
